Terms of Service
Last updated August 5, 2026
The terms below govern use of the ForgeWatch website and service. Please read them carefully — using the Service means you agree to them.
01Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ForgeWatch website and the ForgeWatch shadow-AI detection service (the “Service”). By accessing the Service or authorizing ForgeWatch to connect to your environment, you agree to these Terms on behalf of your organization.
02The Service
ForgeWatch is an agentless, read-only service that inventories the third-party applications granted access to a customer’s cloud identity environment, assesses their risk, and produces compliance evidence. The Service reads metadata only and never requests write access. Specific features, connectors, and cadences may vary by plan.
03Authorization and your responsibilities
You represent that any individual who authorizes ForgeWatch to connect to your environment is a properly designated administrator with authority to grant that access, and that you have the right to have that environment scanned. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information you provide and for the actions taken by your users and administrators.
04Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access data or environments you are not authorized to scan, interfering with the Service’s operation, reverse-engineering it, or using it in violation of applicable law.
05Fees
Paid plans and any one-time engagements are billed as described on our pricing page or in a separate order. Fees are due as agreed and, except where required by law or expressly stated, are non-refundable.
06Service provided “as is”
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. ForgeWatch produces evidence and risk assessments to support your own compliance and security decisions; it is not a substitute for professional, legal, or audit advice, and does not itself constitute a certification of compliance.
07Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ForgeWatch will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amounts you paid to ForgeWatch for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.
08Intellectual property
ForgeWatch and its licensors retain all rights in the Service, including its software, content, and trademarks. These Terms do not grant you any rights in the Service other than the limited right to use it as described here. Reports and evidence generated for your organization are yours to use for your own compliance purposes.
09Termination
You may stop using the Service and revoke ForgeWatch’s access at any time from your identity provider. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or as required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
10Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ForgeWatch operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the current version, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
